MiniMan (2 Weeks, Side-Scroller, Group, Unreal 4)

This project was inspired by Unravel, it was created by a team of 3, myself included. It´s a side scrolling puzzle platformer. I had two areas to create, the office where the player starts in, and the storage room where the game ends.

Gravity flip is also introduced to the player in the office to help navigate out of there. Whenever the player would enter a space with light floating particles, you could flip yourself upside down. With this in mind creating levels was more creative.

This area is not playable but in order to make it feel like the player is in a factory, creating everything in the background was a must. I added a lot of details even to the smallest of things because you never know what the player might see.

In the storage area you had to move push able objects on top of each other in order to get to the top. The player had to make use of the gravity flip here as well.

From here the player has to grapple swing to the left. You also get a better sense of the scope of the area you are in with the storage boxes and shelves in the back.
